Using EFTPOS while internet is offline

Smartpay EFTPOS is capable of working in manual/offline mode when your internet connection is not available.  In the case of their 3G/mobile terminals, which are battery powered, you can even do transactions while the power is out.

To go into offline mode (disable integrated mode)

1. Push X
2. Push 1 (PAYMARK EFTPOS)
3. The terminal should show you a menu with 1. PURCHASE, 2. CASH etc. enabling manual transactions to be processed.

To go back into integrated/online mode

1. Push X
2. Push 2 (SMART CONNECT)
3. The terminal will register with the server and show a message "Online" if successful.
