When email goes directly to spam, the email provider may have updated some of their security policies which we do not have control over.
For google mail or gmail users
Create a filter for the address
Click the cog icon in the top-right corner, and then Settings
Click on Filters and then Create a new filter
Then type in the email address -- e.g. Templeton Golf Club <undelivered@golf.co.nz> in the From field > Click “Create filter with this search”
Tick on the boxes that are applicable especially “Never send it to Spam”
For Hotmail users
Go to the settings icon in the top right hand corner and go to options

Under Layout go to Junk mail ( if the emails from the club have been parked a spam they maybe in the Blocked sender and Domains list or the Safe senders and Domains list) as it can not hurt to check these either.
Then go to the Safe mailing lists,

And once she has done that try sending another test email from the clubs bulk email system to see if it has been received.
