Online Event Registration Setup

To have Online Registrations for your Club Competition the club will need to have the following:

• The club will need to have the DotGolf Golf Operations system.
• The competition registration with online payment feature comes with the DotGolf Club Website product. As with any card transaction, there is an associated fee. We made this similar to the Tee Booking online charges. That is, 5% transaction fee, and a $2 per person transaction fee paid by the member registering (not paid by the club).

NOTE - the 5% transaction fee covers the normal credit card fees, bank fees, DPS transaction fees, therefore 95% goes to the club. (The club can choose to add a little bit more to their entry fee to cover the transaction fees if needed.)

1. Once the competition is set up, navigate to the relevant competition dashboard

2. Click "View Registration Options"

3. Click "Edit Registration Options"

4. Fill out when the Competition Registration opens and ends

5. If you would like players to pay online you can click "Allow online payments"

6. If you would like to add a banner to your event registration page click "Activate top banner"

• The top banner is basically the rectangular banner that would appear on your website. You could upload an image, if you like, or leave it as is.
• If you've uploaded a custom image, it'll appear on the club website, otherwise, it will be a generic one.

7. Add a Entry Fee if required 

8. If you would like to add Registration Questions click "Add Question"

9. Within this field you can outline your question

10. In answer type you can choose from

• Yes/No
• Multiple Choice
• Text

11. Within each answer type you can make the answer required or optional

Please note for multiple choice answers you will need to outline the possible answers

12. Within the cost field you can add the cost of any additions that might be with the competition (dinner etc)

13. If you have multiple questions you can set the display the order of the questions

14. Once finished press "Save Changes"
